Are You Restless Like Me?

This summer has been a complete bore. Well, at least for me. I blame myself for it really, as I haven't had the motivation to do anything. I had planned on catching Morrissey at MSG (yes, my previous post was about Mastodon!) and then he had canceled several dates on the East Coast. Now the Cure in September? (to Moz and Robert: A throat infection and finishing an album are such reasonable reasons for canceling shows. No wonder why your ticket sales have dropped, isn't that the real reason?) Morrissey plans to play New York for 5 nights in October, what can we expect there? Oh so I also missed Shepard Fairey's show at Jonathan Levine Gallery. My excuse? Plain laziness accompanied by family visitations.

So thank you, Against Me! for the impeccable timing:

Does anyo
ne else think that Tom Gabel resembles Alfred E. Neuman (they push their bangs to different sides)?

So for me, my restlessness has sent me to the broke house this summer. Aside from several prints, I picked up pieces from Ian Dingman (thanks Tiny Showcase for the lead), Bask (from "The Feeling is Mutual Show" at The Public Trust) and Matthew Feyld .
