Labs With Abs

How happy does this dog look? Because the dog is frolicking in a meadow or because it has a washboard stomach? Hmmm, both.

(the above is a letterpress print from Poketo!)

Andrew Jeffrey Wright
's Labs with Abs have popped up everywhere and he's even published a book on them. Sweet. You might know his collaboration with Obey Clothing and he's co-founder of Space 1026.

Another Giant Post

I had to do another Mike Giant post and right after the Obey Giant post. A nice deal going on at the Rebel 8 online shop - some men's and women's tee's marked from $26.00 to $13.00. Most of the men's designs are gone but there are some real steals with the ladies' tees.

Women's "Time Bomb" T-Shirt

Women's "Bomb Hard" T-Shirt

If you've read this far, I have to say that shipping is a little steep. There is a bright side - enter "thisrules" in the promotion code after you've spent $100.00 (I noted a nice little poster in a previous post) and you will get free shipping.

Here's where it gets good: Mike Giant is releasing a flash set through Rebel 8 soon and it's going to be hot. More info at Rebel 8.

Obey Gritty New York

I've been meaning to post this a month ago but I mentioned the problems I've been having with my computer - seems to be okay, for now.

So my cousin came to the East Coast to visit and I took him around New York. We walked around lower Manhattan and winded up in Soho. I rarely have my camera with me but he didn't bring his so I let him use mine. The second we were at the corner, I noticed this:

I can't remember where this was, but I remember we picked up the train on Houston. Look at how grime and gritty New York is. It's really filthy. I walk past Bryant Park every morning and there's this spot across from the Bryant Park Hotel that always has the smell of nasty garbage and sludge water. I try to stay on the opposite street most of the time, but a block further past 5th Avenue there is the smell of piss on that side so I'm a little conflicted. I hold my breath every time but it still doesn't work.
