Jeremy Fish/"The Wolf is Loose"

So everyone's been covering Jeremy Fish's show at White Walls. Seriously, it's pretty damn good. I'm blown away by the sculptures and carved frames. Did you see inside his studio (video up at Fecal Face)? That huge mermaid frame...where can I get one?

So Jeremy released four screenprints on wood panel, but I think people are overlooking the other two prints, Captain Ahab and Old Maid. The Captain Ahab piece is absolutely my favorite from the show, so I freaked when I saw this on Umbrella Market (I can no longer afford Fish OGs). It reminded me of a lyric from "The Wolf is Loose" by Mastodon. I have to admit that I don't listen to much metal these days, but I just got into them recently because I had read that their last album, Leviathan, was heavily influenced by Moby Dick. So part of the lyric goes -

The hero of the gods
The crossing of the threshold
The belly of the whale

And so forth...So the print is 16 X 20, 4 color with metallic gold, edition of 100. You won't be disappointed.
